CANOEING
Enjoy early morning or early evening canoeing when the lake is like glass. Canoe through the river channels connecting to the 9th and 8th Crow Wing Lakes...OR have a "Wilderness Adventure" down the Crow Wing and Shell River. Canoe rentals and trips are available through a local outfitter. They will drop you off and pick you up at a designated site. Pack yourself a lunch and take a two, four or six hour "day trip", swim and picnic along the way. An easy trip even for the beginner, no white water. This is will be an adventure to remember. If you enjoy canoeing you will love this lake. It is a "nature" and "wildlife" adventure, canoeing through the river channels to two other connecting lakes.
