Enid Lake

Enid Lake is a 28,000 acre delta flood control lake in Yalobusha county, Mississippi. It is just one of the Mississippi lakes managed by professional biologists on staff with the Delta Wildlife Foundation and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

No place on earth could offer more consistent large catches of both black and white Crappie than this 28,000 acre delta flood control lake. After all, the world record crappie (5 pounds, 3 ounces) was produced by this scenic body of water.

Mississippi Fishing License Information
Each resident of the State of Mississippi ages sixteen (16) to sixty-four (64), fishing in the fresh or marine waters of Mississippi, including lakes and reservoirs but NOT to include privately owned ponds and streams, shall be required to buy a fishing license. All non-resident anglers, except minors under the age of sixteen (16), are required to obtain a fishing license while fishing in the fresh or marine waters of the State of Mississippi.
