Fishing Information

Lake/river fishing is available all year on Lake Tillery. The most popular sport fish in the area are crappie, largemouth bass, striped bass, white bass, perch, bluegill, and catfish. All regulations of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission apply.

Boating Information

Boat/Canoe Rental--Rowboats and canoes may be rented on weekends starting Easter weekend and continuing thru May, rented daily during June, July and August, and on weekends during September and October.

Boating/Canoeing--Lake Tillery and the surrounding rivers provide excellent water recreation for boating and canoeing. A boat launch is available at no charge for those who wish to bring their own.
