I have a appraisal done march 2010 at 350K. Cost to rebuilt 611K ! I am sure there are cheaper bluff view homes. I am also positive that this house could not be built like it is for any less money. The square footage of living space could be doubled easily by using the underside of the home which is completely enclosed in solid, cement poured, steel reinfored walls. A spiral staircase could be added in the giant, open great room to go down below. I also have the guy to built onto the house or make any changes you might want...same guy that built it. Very reliable. Extremely so.
The total square footage of the home just like it is, is approx 4000K when you consider there are 1700 sf of first class, oil, treated decks surrounding the house. In the winter time you can see one neighbor's house from mine and he is higher up and off to one side. When the leaves are out you can not see even this. If you like forrest, mountain home, which is a giant cabin-feel, first class condition, privacy then I have you place. Come take a look. Might consider a lease, however the property would remain for sale. I have had some lookers, but no one with the money or credit, or they decided to buy waterfront instead. This is not waterfront.
