Lake Cumberland touches Clinton, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, and Wayne Counties in Kentucky. Impounded from the Cumberland River, this reservoir was created when the United States Army Corps of Engineers constructed the Wolf Creek Dam in 1952.
