Sunset Lake Information

173 acre full recreation lake with excellent fishing. The lake is stocked with walleye, large mouth bass, crappie, and catfish. The lake is a private lake its use is limited to members and their guests.

The great things about Sunset Lake are the member involved activities; biannual Firecracker Bass & Catfish Tournaments with proceeds from the tournaments funding the professional 4th of July Fireworks display at the lake. Other member activities include an annual golf outing at nearby Oak Leaf Country Club, and fall hot dog social. Lake living and taxes at Sunset Lake are relatively inexpensive compared to other area lakes. The annual dues are only $356.00 per year (2012) and this is based upon the number of lakefront lots you own at the lake.

Can you Swim in Sunset Lake? Swimming is permitted anywhere in the lake. You can swim from your dock or you can swim from your boat near the island where people often swim and visit.
