The Red Rooster Icehouse is conveniently located approx. 4 mi to Lake Hawkins, 9 mi to Holly Lake Ranch, 18 mi to Mineola & 30 mi to Tyler. It is approx. 3600 sq. ft. with an easy seating capacity of approx. 200 people. The parking lot can hold up to 75 vehicles & it has prominent road frontage & easy access to FM 14. There is a covered patio area that has a large fire pit on the front porch. This area has both ample seating & standing room. It has two, 8-ft, Big Ass fans plus wall heaters. You will notice 4 impressive, overhead doors used to bring in the cool air & to open up during concerts. Upon entering the restaurant, you will notice the huge, 14-ft, Big Ass fan, accompanied by 2 custom light fixtures. The Red Rooster provides a selection of both Karaoke as well as live, celebrated, musical talent such The Bellamy Brothers, Micky Gilley, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Cody Canada, John Anderson & more. There is a raised stage for the entertainers. Custom lighting & Sonos speakers are used for full entertainment value. The bar has a custom, poured, wood grained, concrete bar top with a seating capacity for 10 people at the bar. All bottled beer is iced down in custom, insulated, stainless steel troughs. Flooring behind the bar is industrial, non-slip tile, specially treated to resist odor, to keep from getting that stale beer smell so many bars have. Cold, draft beer is set up in close proximity to the tap. The walk-in cooler is directly behind the bar allowing the draft beer to literally flow from the keg to the tap in less than 12 inches of line.
