This lake area is part of the Lake of the Ozarks, the Little Niangua River runs into the lake here at the 8MM. It’s about 15 miles from Camdenton, Mo. You can catch all kinds of fish in this lake, bass, catfish, crappie, trout-coming from Little Niangua, bluegill, perch, shiners for bait, use a tout line. Its deep in areas and shallow. You can jet ski, and swim, water runs downward all year long into the rest of the lake, so its pretty clean. They lower the lake in the winter so people can work on seawalls and docks and whatever, but its not more than 4ft. Docks are permitted for just about everyone that wants one. Any kind of boat you have is permitted, this is a huge lake, thousands of shore miles. Depth of lake is shallow to about 165 ft deep. Camdenton is 15 miles from my place and it has a small airport at about 2 miles from center of town. Osage Beach at Bagnell Dam where they make power is about 10 miles from Camdenton, Mo. Mall outlets centers are there. There are very limited building restrictions outside of town, only septic restrictions and I have mine already done by engineers plan and city approved.
Very nice and quiet area around where I am, they call it the quiet side of the lake. Golf course is about 12 miles going towards Camdenton, can’t miss it right off the highway on right side.
